Muy lindo lugar, excelente comida al horno de barro o otras especialidades. Atención muy buena. Muy recomendado!!!! Camino al Glaciar Perito Moreno, desvío a la derecha.

Muy ricos platos y Meriendas, situados en un ambiente maravilloso, en medio de los árboles, montañas y un hermoso río.

Lugar turistico ubicado a 40 km de la ciudad de El Calafate. Restaurant y cabalgatas. Ubicado a orillas del Rio Mitre.

We went for a one hour horse ride at La Usina on our way back from seeing Perito Merino. It was such an amazing experience. Highly recommend La Usina for horse back riding. It was just 2 of us and our guide Omar and his dog. There was hardly any one there and compared to the other ranches which seemed very group tour oriented - this was much more relaxed and peaceful.

Excellent. Great food (I had the lamb, the homemade chimichurri stood out). Location is gorgeous. Sheep and dogs running around Rio Mitre. Would go back, might do so tomorrow.

I was looking for a local estancia to go horseback riding and have lunch at last minute and stumbled upon La Usina. I was greeted by two wonderful men who were painting a chair and drinking mate near the fire. They were generous, sweet, and extremely accommodating. Offering me mate, alfajores, offering to take pictures for me, showing me the grounds -- all of this without having any idea I was going to show up. I asked if they had lunch available and they said they didn't have anything ready at the moment, but if I had time, I could wait a few minutes for them to get set up. I sat and enjoyed some cumbia music. After some time (not too long), I was presented a perfectly cooked T-Bone steak on a platter with basic garnishes. It was a simple dish, but it was cooked to perfection. If you are going to have a basic dish, you must nail it. La Usina did that and more. With the atmosphere being delightful, the help being incredibly hospitable, and the food being extremely delicious, I give this Estancia, with my experience included, 5 Stars.
