Nice fast food spot! With plenty of seating outside I got the Vietnamese hot chicken which is their spicy item on the menu.. in my opinion overpriced, but it was a hefty portion of food.. as for how spicy is was? I love spicy food, for me it was a 3 out of 10.. but my 3/10 is perhaps someone's 8/10 for spicy . Either way, food was flavorful, food came out within a couple of min.. I enjoyed it . I will comeback to try another food option

The food was good. First time coming into the restaurant and what I liked was the cashier guided me through the menu. He was very helpful. Even after I told him I couldn’t eat too much because I knew I was going to feel sleepy, he gave me a try of their in house coffee. It was goood by the way! He made my experience excellent! Great energy.

Really good VIETNAMESE HOT CHICKEN. The rice and chicken were prepared really well. The sauces was a nice combo of sweet and a little spice. The spice was not crazy hot but added a nice flavor to the meal.

Tasty food that is pretty much typical vietnamese food. Most stuff is reasonable, price wise, but the price of banh mi is basically ridiculous. They charge $10 for what is usually $3.50 to $4.50 at any vietnamese joint.

First time eating here and it's great if you know what their menu offers. Someone said it was a Chipotle for Asian street food and that's right..... Except they only serve ONE type of food. The Box. You can opt for a custom or house favorite. Rice or Noodle base, your protein, your toppings and sauce. If that's what you want, this is a tasty place. If you're looking for variety (edamame, soups, noodles, sushi) then this isn't your place. They don't have indoor seating, so if the weather is crappy, plan to take away. The staff was real nice, too!

Twice a week at least. Food is good and prices are fair. I recommend.

They have great lunch specials. Adorable and their spring rolls is perfect for a light snack.

Love! This place! The staff was so friendly and ALL the items on their menu are 100% gluten free. To be able to eat a bahn mi again was such a happy experience. Also, get the strawberry lemonade! They bake the strawberries with sugar and it's yummy and tart. Highly recommend!!

Everything here is incredibly delicious!!! From shrimp spring rolls to pork to chicken curry, the Asian Box has some of the most delicious and affordable "real" food you'll find. They even have cold brew iced coffee made with coconut milk. Choose from their boxes or make your own. (Yes it's gluten and dairy free but you'll never know.) The staff are incredibly nice and helpful with any questions you have.

After having a great time at the Asian Box in Santa Monica; I saw this location strolling in the central business district, downtown Los Angeles. This location shares a nice outdoor courtyard seating area with a few other restaurants under the Union Bank building complex. I had a custom built box with shrimp(double portion)brown rice, pickled veges and their signature tamarind vinaigrette. Wow...totally delicious! I am really impressed with the freshness, quality ingredients and taste. The consistency is also excellent from one location to another. I also tried the Synergy, Mango, organic Kombucha which is really invigorating as well as delicious. Service, Staff was A level as usual. Asian Box retains its title as best Asian fast food chain LA in my estimation. Keep up the great work Asian Box team.
